Best college QB ever

Wouldn't best QB of ONE YEAR (not even EVER like you claim) be drafted 1st or top3 or something (not sure about american football, maybe some postitions are more valuable than QB?) Surely not 25th..

1 Year? He is the most accomplished college QB ever and it's not really debatable. Also most football fans know that being a stud at the college level isn't always something that translates to the NFL. Lot of Heisman winning QB's had little or no success at the NFL level.

I meant if you are best QB of ONE CLASS you usually get better pick than 25th.
And if you are best QB EVER you definitely get better pick than 25th (even considering that transition from college to nfl thing)

It is fucking insane how big college anything sports wise is over there.

Note I said College QB. It's a very different game, there are 130+ Div 1 teams, he played on the best team. It would be like Barclay's teams playing Npower teams, just outclassed in a lot of the games. He was bigger stronger than most people he faced. The NFL is the top 1% of the top 1% of college players.

Eric Crouch won the Heisman (most outstanding player in college football) never played a single down as a QB in the NFL I think.

They all play for free (scholarships) Against the rules to pay athletes in the NCAA

It would be dependent on what the teams before 25th needed on the roster and what they were willing to go after in a draft. I don't really see the translation that you do.

Teams don't just pick the greatest athletes available, they pick the players that they think will work best with their organization.
