Five Guys is one of those places I HAVE to go to when I spend time back in the States. One cheeseburger with bacon, mushrooms, A1 and mustard. Then a hot dog with cheese and bacon.

I do not see any major difference between hot dog or cheeseburger (unless you say burgers are also only 3am meals)

5 Guys is overrated. They are "ok" burgers at 3 times the price. I don't know about all of them but the one on McGill in old Montreal looks like a shitty Lafleurs dump, and its' just as loud.

If you want a really good burger, go to MBurger. $20 for a burger, fries and beer, but the best burger you've ever had. AND its a cool place, AND you get alot more choices of burgers and toppings.

i like 5 guys but i've only had it once. i was more impressed with the fries than anything else. though the burger was pretty good too and definitely better than mcdonalds/burger king/wendys all around.

So let me get this straight, you get awesome $2 burgers? I will admit their prices have risen considerably over the year but if I want a burger its pretty much the only place I will go, because nothing else compares.

also mburger is not a nationwide chain (from what I can see), doesnt do most people any good

They just opened up in downtown Toronto. Even as a vegetarian, I hear the siren song of their burgerless burgers.

Well it use to be $4.50 for a cheeseburger + $0 for a water and fries aren't really needed, burger is huge. Also I could understand if you weren't that impressed if you are going to five guys and not loading your burger up with toppings. Those vegetables are excellent

as for the vegetarian deal, its almost as big as the burger and only about $3.50. Again, use to be $2.50 for a veggie with cheese and was about the same size as the burger

Yes, besides that. What makes hotdog only 3am meal and cheeseburger not? They are completely interchangeable (only depends on what you like more or what you are feeling more that day). Its like saying twix is only 3am meal and snickers can be eaten at day time.
