CCBill New Joins in November

How's your CCBill new joins looking this month? Oddly enough what was pretty solid last month has turned to 0 joins this month. I am getting the same amount of traffic too.

Strange. Anyone seeing same type of pattern?

This year I'm 1 in 700 ccbill. This month I have no joins so far.

Month started with record breaking (I know all say so, and I don't care, its a fact), then slowed down a bit last two days to an average level. Nothing wierd to report really.

looky_lou 11-12-2012 07:05 PM

About the same as October, maybe slightly better. October was down from September.

Weird, not wierd.

The last 3 days have sucked hard, really hard, most of the site owners I work with are panicking and asking if something is wrong, nothing I can do! month started of ok, just the last 3 days, crashed across the board.

SpeedoDave 11-13-2012 06:33 AM

Last month sucked for me but this month I'm going with 100% Epoch to compare.

Better month already for me but don't think it is biller related - just some good old fashioned promo.

My last 3 days were very good so you must be doing something wrong.

I`m just thinking.... If you have merchant account you must be aware of chargebacks and the riks of loosing your merchant account. Does this also apply for Epoch and CCBill?

If yes... would it be possible that they just turn "sales off" (stop processing or procces less) in a certain period to avoid the risk of getting too high chargeback rates?

CCBill sales have been great for me this month, if it continues like this it'll be the best month ever.

Like you say, CCBill need to protect themselves, if they've had a lot of fraud going through, then they'll need to turn the scrub on real high until their charge-back rate come back down.

DWB 11-13-2012 04:17 PM

You hit your threshold. It will now be shitty for the rest of the month. ;-)
