no you don't, pain in the ass to feed, and water. The price of hay has skyrocketed. The price of shavings for bedding keeps going up. And the little shits destroy fencing, so say goodbye to your summers.

But if you are serious, there is a glut of horses for sale at the moment. Horse market has gone to shit with the economy, and the US dollar, not to mention the racetrack closing. So there are cheap horses to be bought. Only horse market that isn't too bad are quarter horses. And at least if the world goes tits up, you have a method of transportation.. hehe

My neighbour 1 way has 3 horses, the other way 3 donkeys (ones a baby who's really fluffy, like a massive cuddly toy). I just go and see, feed, ride them. Without having to pay for them.
