Question about GFY search results
When I do an advance search of this forum and specify to sort the results by last post in descending order, they are not in that order or any order that I can understand. For example, a search for say "porn" returned the following results and as you can see the first result contains a last post that is less recent than the second result and the third result contains a last post that is less recent than the fourth result.... :helpme

But, you probably told it in post order descending but show results as threads. So the posts it found inside the threads are in the right order but you see the last post date of the threads on your list. Try hitting the show results as posts and you will probably see what you want. . |
fixed image, yes that is the search criteria I specified, but the last post date shown is of the last post in each thread. So is there is no way to show the threads sorted by the last post date within each as I don't want to show posts.

It is what it is. . |
GFY is still on vBulletin 3.7.3
The rest of the world is on v5 already or at least late v4 which I believe does have this feature |
Strange, I just tried a search at vbulletin.org which is running ver 3.6.12 and the threads are all returned in descending order by last post.
