That's a shame. I just got an email from FedEx my iPhone 5 was shipped out on Sunday and will be delivered tomorrow by 4:30PM

Got the first a few days after it was out and just got a shipping notification about the 2nd one being on the way :thumbsup

I thought I had a bad wait. I ordered it at the beginning of Oct and got it a few weeks ago.

Looks like I picked the wrong day of the week to stop sniffing glue.

I bought one of these the other day - Cheap as chips, does all I need and also acts as a hotspot for internet (I have an unlimited plan with it)

The internet is actually faster than my hard wired connection... :2 cents:

Uhh, I think your fucked. My friend just went into Verizon this weekend to get one. I know people from AT&T that did the same.

I went to a local sprint store 3 weeks ago and got one. They are all over the place here. Also picked up a S3. Get the S3 much better phone ;)

I still got those sony ericssons from... dunno.. .years already... Can I receive and make calls? Yes. Can I receive and send text and email? Yes. Can I admin my sites through my phone? Yes. Period.

Easiest way to get a hold on one is to place an order for pick up the next day at 10pm on the dot off apple.com. That is when they restock the pick ups.

of course that is if you want to do it at an apple store.

Just got back from picking up my iPhone 5. Love it. :thumbsup

Had mine since day one.

I'm getting used to iOS coming from Android, but the phone itself is a much nicer piece of hardware than anything available with Android.

I just got rid of an original Galaxy variant. It had to be plugged in constantly. If I got 4 hours towards the end, I was lucky.

Not that often, unless I'm using it as a hotspot. However it only takes a couple of hours if that, so its really not a biggy...

5S comes out in december

No. Digitime said they are starting production in December. Their success rate with rumours is 40%

Seeing as they can't make enough 5s I can't see them starting making the replacement next week...

the fucking thing is a minimal update of 4s.... why the fuck would you order it, hype over it, wait on it, pay too much for it.

But in all seriousness, it's just like buying an up to date computer, it still is gonna run Windows 7 (pre-win8 release), but the hardware is a little newer, and guarantees you that future OS updates will be compatible..

Oh and Apple has release cycles setup a certain way, only an idiot actually goes from 3, to 3s, to 4, to 4s, to 5...

It's actually setup so that if you bought a 4 with a 2-year contract, when the 5 comes out, your contract is up and you can renew your contract and get the 5 in the meantime.

Same with the 4S and when the 5S comes out.

The number one thing I noticed about those who have androids is it seems like they are constantly having to plug it in. I go the whole day with my iPhone 5 with out plugging it in. That is with using it constantly and having Pandora streaming the hour two and from work.

Finally porting out of AT&T and getting my Verizon iPhone 5's tomorrow!

TBH I dont really know - I'm not really a 'phone' type of guy... My Hardwired BT internet went down last week, so I bought it as a very cheap 'Plan B'

As such, its wonderful... But for an 'everyday all-day' user? Dunno :)

Why would anyone except a very poor person get a phone on a contract? The TCO is much higher than buying it outright. Then you can sell it when the new one comes out.

You're a fucking idiot... An iPhone 5 cost $799 whereas with a 2-year contract it's $199.

Move to a real fucking country instead of that third-world bullshit you live in, and you won't have to pay high fucking prices for shit.

Do you understand what TCO means? Total cost of ownership. Take the 199, then add up the payments over two years. It's really simple.

Buy the phone outright, get a sim and a no phone deal. Mine cost me 15 bucks a month. It's very basic maths.

The telco make money because they are lending you 799 for two years. The phone isn't really 199 kid. It's 199 plus 2 years of expensive repayments!

Sorry you can't afford the money to buy yours outright. Maybe get a job that pays you enough to be able to not have to borrow money from AT&T?

Overages fees? I just switched from Sprint to Verizon because I was sick of not having service in my apartment. :1orglaugh

Verizon told me they were having problems with overages on data due to the iPhone wireless sucking on cellular usage but they were waiving the fee for all iPhone 5 users... But with the recent update to iOS 6, that bug is fixed. :thumbsup
