Hi,

we are looking to expand our website with tube videos. We think we have a good search engine and now we want to combine that with tube videos.

When i search gfy i get a million hits so sorry if this has been answered before...

I am looking for videos in my niche. That is solo girls or lesbians. Can i download videos from tube sites or do they have copyrights? I don't know where to start...

Also, is it better to stream from another site or host them on my own server?

If you want to have these videos legally you have to: 1. buy them (lot of money) or upload sponzored videos from affiliate program (they usually have some 3-5 min promo clips). Videos on tubes are mostly illegal. But you can always embed them on your site.

Videos stored on your server will burn you a lot of bandwidth. Otherwise use embeds.

I'd go with either buying or using sponsored videos from affiliate programs. Scraping illegal tubes is asking for trouble (potentially).

If you know how to handle servers you can upload them, because they use a lot of space and bandwidth. The easy way is to embed them and like that the chance is much smaller to get in copyright problems, because you don't store the files.
