Never talk while preparing a meal - far too frikken dangerous....

Was chopping up some onions, something I must have done a thousand times before. Dice them nice and small to throw in a sauce for some muscles....

But daughter blabbing away, me not paying attention and *chop* ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkk

Blood everywhere, me screaming like a big girl....

After 2 hours, it finally stopped bleeding (well, it stopped bleeding after 10 mins of putting a bandange on it, but then taking it off to wash/clean the wound opened it back up like a bitch).

Anyway, throbbing stopped and finally the bleeding and so was able to grab a picture. In the end, doesn't look too bad, but shit it hurts still.

Screw this cooking lark - leave it to the professionals I say.

Touch typing is now rather fun with a bell end of a thumb wrapped in bandage :(

When I was a kid I worked in a restaurant kitchen and a guy chopped a big chunk of his middle finger off, about to the middle of his fingernail. Screamed like a bitch and bled like a motherfucker.
