I kinda miss my old Tamiya BigWig from when I was 12. I saved up for a whole summer to get it. I will most likely have to get my son one when he is old enough.

I have two tricked out t-maxxes. Titanium roll cages and other goodies. Also have a Traxxis remote control boat with upgraded batteries.

The T-Maxxes are fun, but they break down so easily that 90% of your time is fixing it. They are garage queens now.

When I was younger, I was really into radio controlled airplanes... but as I got more and more into it, I started to lose interest because of the limitations. Line of sight control is pretty boring... so I was looking into setting up a POV system that would give me kind of a drone-style interface. But when you get into that expense, it's not much more of a leap just to get your pilots license and do the real thing...

as a teenager I had a nice Tamiya Hornet set up with a few different body styles and on and off road tires. A few years ago I thought about getting a new RC car but it was more like.. I'm bored so I'll look online for a few hours but never bought one..

Good way to drain your bank account.

Another good way is helicopters... After your first crash you find of get over the whole idea of having a larger one.
