Blog Images

Hi

Need some experience webmaster advice.

Want to ask opinions on which might help with member sign up and SEO spiders.
Now at the bottom of each post I already have a link going to the sponsor.

Going to try and put images in my story post

Should I just insert the pic only?

or

Should I insert the pic which clicked on goes to a bigger full pic?

or

Should I insert the images and when clicked on it goes to sponsor gallery or to sponsor join page?

:helpme please

Try each one and see what converts best for you site then stick to it.

I'd try all but I have a feeling this would work best;

insert the images and when clicked on it goes to sponsor gallery or to sponsor join page?

Make sure you set up goals and or events/click tracking in your analytics.

Speaking as a consumer, I hate when I click on an image and it does anything but give me a bigger version of that same image. But I find that a lot of times with adult sites, what is going to convert and what is good for SEO are not the same thing.

Having said that, from an SEO standpoint, make sure you use alt text on all of your images - put a list of relevant keywords in them, don't overdo it though. Images are a great kind of undercover way to help spiders classify and rank your site, and alt text is currently noticed by all of the major engines.

Myself, I don't care to see a bigger image either.

If an image gets you interested, you want more to look at, so you get the whole sight when clicking it :thumbsup.

If you blind link an image at least put the text under it of where the image takes the person.

" Dont click that image unless you want to check out the website its from! "

Other wise you are looking at an ass load of clicks and maybe only a few sales and wondering why your ratios are bad when in reality if you had not tricked the person into clicking, the ratios would be better.
