Mac gurus How to I burn a Iso from a PC so that a Mac can also see it?
 
All hail MAcs!!!!

I got a iso file on a Windows PC... Ok how the heck do I not fuck it up so that when I jam it in a Mac it can read it / copy it?

Zip it up in a zip file, transfer to Mac, unzip - should be fine :thumbsup

you should have an option to burn iso 9600 (or something like that compliant DVD) thats how ya do it for a regular dvd

if you want to burn it as data I dont know....that may still work

Dean if I do zip it up then put on a USB drive or data DVD will that be a issue ?

Will i need to format the DVD any special Mac way or just plain data mode will suffice?

If you put it on USB drive, the USB drive will probably be formatted for PC so you'll just have to make sure that you're Mac can recognize the PC formatted drive, which it normally can't without addl software.

i believe eXFat format from a PC should work .. thx again Dean :)
