the Snake is dead
one of the last few good tgps just sold out last week - Snake's World.
i found this out the hard way - my 3-month partner pass stopped working about 5 weeks into the run lol. since Snake didn't email me with a refund, and his email is now bouncing, i guess he is just going to steal the remainder of my fees. for those of you that say tgps are dead, Snake was sending between 20-200k uniques to each of our galleries before he sold out and switched his site to a tube. tgps aren't dead, but Snake's World now is. RIP - and i hope you buy something nice with the money you stole from me you fucking scumbag. :321GFY |
Always thought he was one of the good guys...

All good bro, drinks on the house :thumbsup
|
I figured he would have refunded those with submit passes. I guess your reputation isn't as important after you sell your site.

pretty fucking pathetic to stiff your submit pass guys right after a big payday.:2 cents:

signs of the times. however, money could be in motion

Adapt or ?

still google. :1orglaugh Quote:
20-200k per gallery wasn't enough to make you grateful when the empire fell though. :1orglaugh |

a lot of submitters redirect mobile traffic like if they paid $25 they now own my surfers. so it goes both ways. I understand why so little sites accept submissions now a days.

The problem is that many submitters, link exchangers, etc (to us anyway), will sell their mobile traffic and then ultimately redirect traffic off the site so when a person clicks a link on our page, they are not at all given what they expected. We delete these pretty fast. It is for this same reason I would never, and have never, skimmed and traded. I want those who click our links to get exactly what they expect. I think I had only a few weeks left on my Snakes Pass. Funny though... prior to renewing last time, I actually wrote him and asked was he selling to them next, and he replied telling me "no" and that he even deleted their email right away. I guess they must have upped their offer. Like I said in the other thread, great to see PinkWorld still rocking -- I hope he never sells. Such a great guy to deal with. |

200k to each gallery, right, the whole TGP has not had 200k in a single day for maybe 2 years and then the question is, how many of those were Indians and Chinese. |
Quote:
Uniques: 133,672 PageViews: 3.69 (we do not use standard TGP's though) Duration: 04:09 minutes BounceRate: 43.50% Countries (Top 5): USA, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia (India and China were not even top 10. In fact China was #26 and India was #28) Overall, I'd consider SnakesWorld used to have some of the better traffic insofar as TGP sites are/were concerned. |

Those numbers look real. But he claimed that the site used to send up to 200k to each gallery, maybe that was over period of 2 years, lol. :winkwink: |
SpicyM, might have been a typo. I don't think anyone sends 200k to a single gallery any more, not even TheHun. Even in these times, however, TheHun can still deliver 100k to a gallery depending on placement. Pretty incredible when you think about it -- non-skim text links tgp -- it doesn't get much more old school than that.

I miss the good old days of buying 4 Ampland Movies submit passes, 4 PW passes, Pichunter + Video Post and Richards Realm and kill my 100 Mbps server, then going to ATM and withdrawing $1200 at once from my Epassporte card.. :winkwink: Fuck, the good things never last for long. |
Maybe he meant 200k a month?
I mentioned in another thread how much he sent me last month, I think it was 300-350k |
If you think I owe you money, post your info>most submitters have been refunded. I will contact you and refund what is due. I lost email when I sold my site.
|
lets see some stats on the money you made.:)
|
Sold out or smartened up?
|
I just sent his $75 back so he can have a Merry Xmas. I really could have "bought something nice" with that(carton of Marlboro's and a 12 pack)Merry Xmas.
I sold out. 15 years was long enough. Still hanging around on the edges. Looking for my next long term project! |
I thought this was another Fabian thread
