Any rumor as to what really happened to Epassporte?

Anybody have inside knowledge as to what really happened?

Was it the movie that did it in?

Seems like he made enough $$ to keep it running. So it had to be something else right?

CyberHustler 11-30-2012 02:08 AM

I think they just took our money and ran...

Harmon 11-30-2012 02:09 AM

He funded his shithole of a movie with everybody's money hoping it will do well. He was wrong. It bombed.

bean-aid 11-30-2012 02:10 AM

The money and movie were in motion. Honestly... no idea how the guy is still in the states.

BIGTYMER 11-30-2012 02:16 AM

Amazing he wasn't ever charged with anything.

Because the American adult internet industry is full of pussy ass keyboard warriors?

Much like all those pussy ass content producers whining about their content on tubes and not doing a damn thing about it, laughing and slapping tube site owners on the back and calling them bro...

Back in the Australian porn mafia days, Scott PB would be over there with the blowtorch in about 5 seconds. :thumbsup

.

p.s. Regarding the O.P.

The bank shut epassporte down. They were becoming a very widely known conduit for U.S. online gaming transactions, both inbound and outbound, and it was only a matter of time until the authorities told the bank that they had to be shut down.

. Just FYI.:2 cents:

you sure it was gaming?

as far as i understood it was giving out cards with transactions up to $5k without proof of identity - which is against Visa rules.

bluebook18 11-30-2012 07:26 AM

epassporte has a successful story over a decade on adult industry

that's why they are popular on every board

PERYOD....

Ah! Yes, in a way. The gaming aspect brought them on to the radar, and VISA was notified, of course. At that point, when they audited their procedures, VISA shut them down for exceeding KYC regulations. However, I believe their gaming activity is what brought them the attention in the first place.

ok, yes, the gaming incident was earlier, that is right.

and when you lose your banking while you have "borrowed" that money to finance a largely unsuccessful movie...

Kenny B! 11-30-2012 09:34 AM

1000's of people used epass as a bank, mallick had the master ATM card and used it at his leisure.

You know about the chair incident? I agreed with Scotty that the guy had it coming to him. I'm sure it wasn't funny for the guy, but he survived it (and there was no blowtorch)....

I'm sure the people who'd actually DO something got their money. There are some people you simply do not want to owe money to.
