Typically how long do sales take to show up
 

I was just curious, but how long after a customer signs up for a site through an affiliate link does the sale take to show up in your stats?

Is it instantaneous or is there some lag?

I would imagine that depends upon the payment processor...but assuming you mean CCBILL, it's "usually" within 30 minutes when I get my notification (as a site owner) that an affiliate has made a sale.
So, I suppose that holds true for an affiliate logging in and looking at their stats.

Curious with some of the NATs system as well.

with CCBILL there's quite a long lag time before it shows up in an affiliate's stats - 20 minutes or so.

I`m with epoch... Sales show up in stats instantaneous...
Don`t know if it`s the same for affiliates but my salestats;
productivity-stats (formhits), etc... are instantaneous... real time!

on mtree it's instant

usually about 10 mins max for us. our stats database is huge though, that's the only reason there is any lag at all.

With 95% of the affiliate programs it will be within 30 minutes and not more than 1 hour.

With StatsRemote.com you can let it do the checking and spend your time doing the work you used to be doing before incessantly doing the checking.
