Weird NFL Season

Not the best NFL season, lots of shitty teams, no great teams - haven't seen many classic type games either, lots of disappointing national broadcast games(Thursday night, Sunday Night, Monday Night)

hope December has some snow games.

Although i only watch from the UK, i thought this season has been pretty shitty aswell. I usually try watch as many games as i can on our sports channels, but i can't really remember any games i've really enjoyed so far.

Hopefully by the time the playoffs come round things get better...

No true dominant teams...not really even Atlanta...their record, despite how good it is, is significantly better than the team's play has been. LOTS of close call "coulda gone either way" games.
:P

Mr ESPN over here :)

I take it back. Insane end of the 4th in this Chicago game.

Into OT now...

Thursday night games usually have bad match ups. Sunday night games are hit and miss, mostly good teams are playing against each other. Monday Night Football, for whatever reason has shitty teams playing against one another.

NFL is pretty shitty this year. A lot of really bad teams. A bunch of teams with non NFL Caliber quarterbacks. It is pretty bad.

that is a problem in the NFL - the way the rules are today without a legit QB your team is going to suck. there are 32 NFL teams and maybe 10 legit QB's - lots of young QB's who are off and on. NFL teams used to bring QB's along slowly, rare even a top QB prospect would start his rookie year. Now the QB situation is so bad they are drafting guys out of college to start - and most of them aren't really ready but they're better than the retreads that have been kicking around the league for years.

The games are scheduled far in advance and its very hard to pick who is going to be good 6 months ahead of time. Of course some teams are a shoe in to be good based on their personnel but due to injuries and team play it difficult. Who expected the Eagles to be soooo bad this season?

This is the time of the NFL season where the good teams really do shine and the bad ones start planning for next season.

I know what you're saying, but this Sunday had some crazy close games... It was fun to watch IMHO.

I've enjoyed this year, though maybe being a Texans fan has made that a lot easier! :pimp

The Cards here suuuuuuck. We actually managed to lose to the Jets yesterday.
We were 4-0 in Sept, now we're 4-8. Not a good season.

I'm still not sure how the Cards managed that with Sanchez throwing not one... not two.. but THREE INTERCEPTIONS??? :(

Whatever Sanchez has on Rex Ryan must be really, really good.
