Anybody taking up the youtube offer to change their account name to their real name?

If so then why?

Had not heard of this offer and no I would not personally. YT account is branded as I believe most have done or do.

I got it a couple of times when I clicked on a thumbs up rating it seemed.

I think they are just trying to turn youtube into facebook and that's one way to
make me quit youtube for sure.

Yep I use my real name.

I'll keep an eye out, hadn't noticed that yet.

They have been moving closer to facebook for a while now, their interface / channel time lines etc.

I think they are changing android market ratings and comments to full real names too.

I got asked that too, but it certainly wouldn't benefit me. A female name would be better :2 cents:
