Im posting to gfy from the trunk of a car help!

not really this guy was in the trunk :helpme

Newly released dash-cam video from a Louisville Metro police cruiser shows a man being pulled from the trunk of his car after he was kidnapped and locked in there by three people for hours, officials say.

Shawn Bloemer, 22, was working as a store clerk at the Circle K gas station Aug. 3 when he was allegedly kidnapped, bound, gagged and stuffed in the trunk of his own car.

"I was real panicked and scared," Bloemer said. "I didn't know what their intentions were or anything like that."

Police say suspects Joseph Davis, Brittany Elder and Trent Blye drove around with Bloemer in the trunk for about four hours, looking to buy drugs.

His car had expired tags, however, which promoted a police officer to make a routine traffic stop that turned into anything but routine.

Bloemer says he passed out at various times but awoke just in time to see flashing lights through a crack in a broken tail light.

"I heard a voice? he was an officer. He asked about insurance and that's when I started kicking and punching on the hood yelling," Bloemer said.

The new dash-cam video shows the exact moment police noticed that someone was in the trunk of the car.

Cops pulled the three suspects from the car before approaching the trunk with their guns drawn.

"Twenty-five years of experience; my heart was beating extremely fast," officer Fred Wilson told ABC News affiliate WHAS-TV in September.

"The trunk was popped. I exposed my hands like the officers asked me to do," Bloemer said. "I saw eight to 10 cops at that point."

Bloemer is grateful for the officers' quick thinking.

"There's not a lot I can say except, 'Thank you,' but it means more than that," Bloemer said.

Davis, Elder and Blye remain behind bars charged with kidnapping and theft. They have not yet entered a plea.

WTF? Small businesses all across America should be forced to hire security because this kid had a bad fews hours? Doesn't seem like an extreme response?

Hire a cop or security to run the store at nights then. If they can work a gun they can probably give change for a twenty also

What's your point? Walmart can afford security and has security. If you have a little store, you are running on very thin margins. The average bodega cannot afford it and does not have it. If you HAVE security, then you are implying liability for the security of the people on your property. If you do not, then you are not implicitly liable.

Do you know the difference between a chain and a franchise? Apparently not.

Circle K's are owned by independent business owners, not a central corporation. They have to pay for everything out of their pockets, including the license for the franchise, as well as the building, the inventory, everything. It costs anywhere from $500k to maybe $1.5m to get one started and that is before you make dollar one. P.S. Good luck getting a loan for it, and you need to have $300k in cash before Circle K will even talk to you.

The central franchisee has no liability for things like this, or if you fail and go under, that's it, your done.

You really don't have a clue about this stuff, sorry.
