Christmas songs that DON'T piss you off
 

Most radio stations are starting to hammer fuck out of the Christmas songs now.

Most are fucking awful, infact probably 95% of them. It's pointless changing the radio station now since practically every station is playing the same songs. Well, most the shitty commercial stations anyway.

What songs don't piss you off and make you want to switch off ?

I think i heard the only one i don't mind today while i was in the car which is:

right now all Xmas songs piss me off. At Xmas night and day , I'm ok with them, but this far in advance, fucking ridiculous:2 cents:

They all suck!

The "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown" album of the Vince Guaraldi jazz trio is always my favorite. I can listen to that every year.

Agreed. Shit, I can listen to that one during ANY season. Such a brilliant album. I have the original CD pressing as well as the one with the false starts and extra takes.

Good call Ross, normally anything Mariah Carey would piss me off, but because this song is part of Christmas Vacation, it gets a thumb's up. And Fairy Tale of New York always reminds me that no matter how drunk one may get at Christmas, you will never be Shane MacGowan drunk.

When your parents do a stupid thing like name you Courtney Noelle Rudolph. You grow a hatred for Christmas songs at an early age.

I've always secretly had a thing for "Christmas Wrapping" by the Waitresses.

My favorite thought is by Vertical Horizon called the "Man Who Be Santa". It talks about parents and their children, and how kids have no clue who Santa really is. It's so much more than Christmas, which is something that any parent can understand.

I like the Sinatra stuff.
