Program owners - thoughts on review sites?

Do you allow all review sites to review your site or any for that matter?

What are the pros and cons you have found from doing this?

Nicky 12-06-2012 05:00 PM

We allow any review site to review us. So far It's only been positive. It's also a good way to see what others think of your members areas/content since that is the most important part of your sites.

Penny24Seven 12-06-2012 05:01 PM

all good stuff, back in the day you could make a site and make enough just by getting it reviewed since the traffic was so good. I still get joins each week from two review sites and some with others

This is one of the reasons I wanted to do it. Then at the same time if you get told "that is a pile of steaming shit" - it won't be great :1orglaugh

We have no problem with any review site looking at our program, although, only a few have asked us, I don't go out of my way for them, but pleased with the ones I have. Rabbits, thebestporn, myporndb, pornusers & sexzool.

All bring sales in regular :thumbsup

If you run good sites that people would actually want to be a member of, you definitely want them on review sites.

Hey guys,
I'm new here but am running a review site and we are always looking for great/new sites to review. Hit me up on icq-610404282 if your looking to get reviewed. :thumbsup

I know I've written a bunch of reviews on various sites for a bunch of different review sites and most sites are more than willing to share a members pass/pw for a short period to help gain a positive review. Posting a positive review adds new customers, gains SEO with a review, and adds positive content on the web about the site. Can't lose with a review. I write them as much as I can and really enjoy reviewing a site in detail.

When making your website check out the review sites for setting your standards, You can get a lot of good idea's from them. They bring sales and as long as your site is decent it's worth having reviewed by any/all review sites. I have learned to not take it to personal if you don't get the score your looking for, Everyone has different opinions and they like to keep their favorite sites number 1, So you may lose points to stay below them.

Love review sites and even give them the option of offering their surfers a special discount price for subscriptions too. :)

JuicyBunny 12-07-2012 05:27 AM

Always looking for reviews from good sites.

Which review site jamie?

onlytease 12-07-2012 06:04 AM

If you don't want review sites looking at your site then you must have something to hide or be ashamed of your site?
We encourage reviews as we are very proud of what we do, and yes the big review sites like TBP and Rabbits send very productive traffic :)

adultmobile 12-07-2012 09:20 AM

We do not offer webmaster referral so the review sites do not review us, as they can't do money from the review :)
However we got reviewed in forums and in some review sites updated by users (forgot what ones, there's a big one).

Sophie Delancey 12-07-2012 09:27 AM

We love reviews. People love finding something different, so we do very well on review sites. Folks like Doug of Rabbits and Vegas Ken are real sweethearts, too!

^^^ This. That's been our experience, too. ClickCash affiliates who run review sites are profiting very nicely from both their ClickCash and iFriends reviews, along with reviews of some of the other sites in the iFriends family. We've found the members who come through these sites tend to be a great match to the service that's promoted since the reviews give them a good sense of what lies behind their sign-up process.

My crew is Happy to review your paysites. We have a small review site, but we Love it, and take care of it, and my guy who writes the reviews does his job pretty well. We always check the member areas, we have no tour-ad-based review at all.
Some sites, where we see problems, we notify the owners about the bugs/etc.
My reviewer just asked me today for new sites to review, any niche [gay, straight] can come, granny/bbw/pissing is preferred at the moment.
Just fill the form in my sig or email me a member pass if you are busy/lazy ;)

Many allow any review site to review them. This is good. If they really want to become better, they have to get more critique.

Doug of Montreal 12-07-2012 03:43 PM

If you're in business to increase traffic and get qualified visitors (as we all really should be) then even the worst review can do that. You really need to be able to distance yourself from your work, though. Criticism can be tough for some. From our experience, surfers just want to know they won't get ripped off. They make up their own minds about what they like.

By the way each site gets emails from customers, including unhappy ones, so really a review site would rarely add something the users feedback did not pointer out before...

Direct feedback from customers is always good. I have found criticism from review sites very valuable so far... At the end of the day these guys look at tons of porn sites and who better to tell you where you need to improve or what is lacking!

I've made sales on sites I've given terrible reviews to.

Some Guy 12-07-2012 08:43 PM

I have no problem with it. Furthermore, Rabbits Reviews have been extremely kind and professional with me over the years.
