There's only 3 possibilities I can figure out:

1. I was dead wrong about only advertisers getting awards.

2. There are always exceptions to the rule

3. AVN changed ownership a few years ago and have decided to make some changes in their awards to better reflect reality.

I'm so sick of hearing only advertisers only get nominated and/or win

I have an AVN award and have 16 nominations this year and have NEVER advertised.

I am very happy for my friend Robbie for his nomination and sincerely hope that Claudia-Marie wins an award this year, it is long overdue.
