It does mean free in Dutch but Dutch is just one of the many adopted languages where it means Free.

The English term Gratis has its origins in late Middle English; from Latin. A contraction of gratiis, It is widely used in the Afrikaans, Catalan, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Bahasa Indonesia, Scandinavian and German languages.

Here in America we know it from Spanish but Americans still know it as the word Free.

If i recall its liberum or something in Latin for the term: free
Only 2 languages i know use gratis as the term free in common. Dutch and Afrikaans because Afrikaans is based on old dutch. The German word for free is kostenlos, the French one is gratuit and the spanish word is libre i believe. But enough about translations it's certainly a nice domain name regarding who uses the word gratis.

Yes other languages have their own exact words for Free but Gratis is one of those more universal words for Free

As an example look at 3 of the domain sales I posted, they are from Italy, Germany and Argintana. It is a universal term.

when i did see you posted prices from other gratis domains i expected you wanted a mid x,xxx to a low xx,xxx at least.
