Over the Counter Testosterone Replacement that works?
Heard a radio ad for "Charger Test"
Any of these actually work? |
Nothing really works. Nothing legal. I think you're best bet is ZMA.
|
Don't waste your money on crazy expensive powders and fluids with fancy names. It's bullshit.
|
Especially names with boost and test etc in them...avoid!

Maybe add some tribulus. Even if i doesn't work it is cheap and will give you extra energy. And buy maca. Very healthy stuff and very cheap.
Zma, tribulus and maca. You're welcome. |
Your best bet is to just score some real testosterone.
It's legal in most countries (except the "free" USA of course). If you live on the West Coast of the United States you can just drive across the border to Tijuana and buy it right over the counter at any drug store. |

I love ZMA -- for the great sleeps and funky dreams -- but it doesn't boost testosterone. I was going to the doctor and getting regular T level tests, and the entire time I was taking ZMA. There was no difference in levels.
There is nothing over the counter that will significantly raise your levels. Just stuff like Androgel is all that works. I went through a whole low T drama recently, and had a double varicocelectomy. I'm having my first 3 month blood test since the operation in January to see if my levels are back up. If not, then my doc will put me on Testim or Androgel. |

revitalabs is always advertised on Bubba the Love Sponge. Not sure how well it works. The developer is a DR.

Is it for building muscles or do you just want it at peak ?
I talked with a personal trainer recently and he told me about Tribulus Tribulus does not add extra testosterone but rather keep it at a maximum I never got it because I dont really need it but he recommended it. Bullshit or not, I might try it sometime. I focus on eating and taking amino acids together with excersise |
I am just getting older, and want to keep my body fat off and increase in energy. 41

Biotest Alpha Male (contains tribulus and 2 other quite powerful components)

So we have to pay overinflated prices for a prescription. I can spend $400 and have a years supply just by buying it out of the country. And for ALL healthy men over the age of 40 or so...it's a must if you want to keep enough testosterone in your system to remain a man. Otherwise your natural test production will just continue to get less and less. Read something a while back that said the average 65 year old man has less testosterone than an 18 year old girl! When I was in my 30's I used all the supplements that are supposed to help produce test in your body. I used tribulus and all that stuff. It made my dick hard. lol But once you get to a certain age (a little different for everyone's physiology...but usually somewhere in your 40's) you just don't have enought testosterone left in your body to feel "good" anymore. Once you get those levels back up you will feel happier, more alert, more focused, and your sex life will be back too. As an added bonus you will burn off some of that fat that comes with too much estrogen in a man's body. As long as you use maybe one CC a week (200 ml/cc) you are gonna feel like a million bucks and be as healthy as a horse. If you go overboard and try to be Mr. Olympia however, you may run into health issues. Like everything else in this world, moderation is the key. |
Nothing works but to increase testosterone and pro hormones and other steroids. Nothing is going to work that doesn't require a prescription by law.

silly kids.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17530942 The effect of five weeks of Tribulus terrestris supplementation on muscle strength and body composition during preseason training in elite rugby league players. Rogerson S, Riches CJ, Jennings C, Weatherby RP, Meir RA, Marshall-Gradisnik SM. Source School of Exercise Science and Sport Management, Southern Cross University Lismore, New South Wales, Australia. [email protected] Abstract Tribulus terrestris is an herbal nutritional supplement that is promoted to produce large gains in strength and lean muscle mass in 5-28 days (15, 18). Although some manufacturers claim T. terrestris will not lead to a positive drug test, others have suggested that T. terrestris may increase the urinary testosterone/epitestosterone (T/E) ratio, which may place athletes at risk of a positive drug test. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of T. terrestris on strength, fat free mass, and the urinary T/E ratio during 5 weeks of preseason training in elite rugby league players. Twenty-two Australian elite male rugby league players (mean +/- SD; age = 19.8 +/- 2.9 years; weight = 88.0 +/- 9.5 kg) were match-paired and randomly assigned in a double-blind manner to either a T. terrestris (n = 11) or placebo (n = 11) group. All subjects performed structured heavy resistance training as part of the club's preseason preparations. A T. terrestris extract (450 mg.d(-1)) or placebo capsules were consumed once daily for 5 weeks. Muscular strength, body composition, and the urinary T/E ratio were monitored prior to and after supplementation. After 5 weeks of training, strength and fat free mass increased significantly without any between-group differences. No between-group differences were noted in the urinary T/E ratio. It was concluded that T. terrestris did not produce the large gains in strength or lean muscle mass that many manufacturers claim can be experienced within 5-28 days. Furthermore, T. terrestris did not alter the urinary T/E ratio and would not place an athlete at risk of testing positive based on the World Anti-Doping Agency's urinary T/E ratio limit of 4:1. |

why would you want something over the counter ?
there are some natural things you can do to increase if you want to go that route. |
Can't believe no one mentioned Tongkat Ali or "long jack".... The stuff works if you get the kind sold at Whole Foods and take it twice a day. Look it up! I heard its good to cycle it on and off. I usually did the larger bottle, then took a few weeks off... then do the large bottle again, and so on. Have you seen my facials? :)

if it is just for sexual reasons then some of the supplements are worth a second look but if you are trying to boost testosterone to more youthful levels, then you pretty much need to go the hormonal route which is not available over the counter |

I was just checking to see if there was something natural or over the counter supplements that did help somehow boost the test levels... |

The govt. are our parents and we are just children who can't be allowed to make decisions you know. |
I experience all of the side effects of increased test from taking Tongkat Ali consistently for 2-3 weeks... I never noticed anything from ZMA... just saying. There will be schools of thought for and against any substance, natural or over the counter. To help boost Test, I think Tongkat worked for me.
Also eating the right foods works... and good old fashioned working out with high intensity would be the best over the counter remedy. |

The only thing is suggest taking next to your normal food is Maca. No matter your age, gender, if you work out or not. It's good stuff. ZMA and Trib *might* help you in the gym. It will help you get rock hard morning wood for sure :1orglaugh Tongkat i never tried but i read good things about it. I bet there are some other natural products that are good for you. Just stay away from blue, purple and pink bottles with crazy names. |

That's why healthy young people should NEVER use testosterone. It will cause their natural production to shut down. Stay away from it as long as you can...and then when you are in your late 30's/early 40's IF you start noticing body fat, depression, feeling like shit...then it might be time to think about seeing a doctor and getting your manhood back. :) |
Heavy squats and proper nutrition will boost your test. but it doesn't come in a pill so most people don't bother. If you're older and there is a severe decline, like Robbie said go see your doctor.

If you take steroids, they will only KILL YOU soon or late. If you decide to ignore that fact and keep taking STEROIDS, you will soon or late, PAY THE PRICE. And what else do you take? PROPECIA for your hairloss? any other meds? I cant believe how will you be when all the long term SIDE EFFECTS of those meds kick in, dude. I told you, but you never wanted to listen... ok, go ahead, its your body. BTW, why does PornoMonster want TESTOSTERONE replacement? Just sayin... |
I think I defiantly need this stuff, i have no energy or focus latley, past couple years. I get tons of excersise and eat right, but now I am 44, most that know me don't belive it and think I am 30's but I am old as fuck and really feel it, when I read this thread and watched some of the commercials for low T it all definetly fits. Guess I will check it out, who do you go see?

its your body, but I would personally stay away from STEROIDS.. |

You should do a little research before you say something as fucking stupid as that. lol Science and medicine say you are 100% wrong. I work out harder than any 50 year old you know. And I'm gonna go with what doctors tell me over your anecdotal bullshit on a message board. |
Robbie, you sound like a bad case of roid rage.

Eggs, oatmeal in the morning. Dead lifts, Squats, and tire pushes. Avacado is a fat that boosts test too.

Once your body's natural maximum production (maximum meaning you are doing everything you stated to cause it to produce more) falls below healthy levels (usually begins to really get low in your 40's)...then it's time to supplement it. |
