I just tried to install a game
 

I had to download a downloader, which installed an installer which installed another installer which wouldn't install.
Remember back in the day you were able to download the actual game :disgust

you should play some Arma 2 Dayz Mod.

Perhaps trying to install the game, was actually the game itself, and you lost? :winkwink:

yes many downliading sites are doing this, including cnet or zdnet, they let you donwload the downloader/installer which then downloads the actual file along with some other file then it asks for your permission while installing main file , if you go all the way clicking yes>>yes>>yes then you are screwed.

I remember the day, you clicked something you wanted & ended up with that thing in your hands. These days, no matter what it is you're looking for, it takes hours to get it & is difficult to find :2 cents:

Why exactly?

I think the standalone game will be released soon so there's no point in buying Arma2 now. ;)
