How could I tell if the nude painting is valuable? What are the things I should look out for?

If it's original. Valuable as in six figures? That's like pre-1900s unless it's like a Marilyn Monroe original done by someone back in her time

We might be able to answer your questions better if you'd explain what your goal is. Are you looking at a particular painting already, or are you thinking about the genre as a whole? And is your intention to purchase something for yourself or to sell one or more paintings to others?
