Scammer alert [program owners inside plz] with a positive outcome [thanks kinkydollars.com!]
Hi All,
Hey program owners with paxum payments!! Please read this :2 cents: I push 100s of programs an for some I sign up and send traffic years later. Once I drive some traffic/sales to a program I used to check if my account data is up to date, etc. Actually I have never ever had to change anything major until this time. So a few days ago NiftyStats notified me about a new payment that was sent to me from KinkyDollars.com. So I did the usual checking and noticed that I had paxum as payment option and the paxum ID that was there was totally unknown by me. In a nutshell: kinkydollars sent my payment to a scammer who hacked my KD account and modded the paxum ID. I opened a paxum support ticket and with the help of Robert @ KinkyDollars and Ruth @ Paxum we were able to confirm that nothing can be done, the guy took the money immediately. This confirms that this is not an accident but a scam. Btw KinkyDollars did a new payment, to my proper address so I am now paid in full, Kudos to Robert & KD ! :pimp :thumbsup This is not done yet as it can be that this fucker hacked more accounts and had set his own paxum ID for many webmasters on many programs. I know most programs need an email confirmation when they change such things - KD used to have this but it is out of order for some reason, they are working on it w TMM btw so no worries! If you are a program owner please search your database for the following paxum ID: I am curious if anyone else will find this anywhere :pimp I hope someone will catch the mofo' :) Affiliates! Check your top sponsors if you have right payment settings!! I also hope that Paxum will provide some info about this guy - I am curious where is he from. If there's no NiftyStats I might have missed this totally :P :pimp Thanks for all who have helped me in this :pimp :thumbsup |
Props to Kinkydollars!
We had the same once where someone hacked our videosz account and changed it to his own epass addy. Videosz also paid us in full afterwards. |
email isn't in our system at all. thanks.
|
This is why programs should send an Email with a verification code to the user before changes are committed.
|
Damn props too kinky dollars, you don't see shit like this much now a days.
|
I think this post would give some people some funky ideas.

All the whois is total bs, however if you search for the whois info, you will find a heap of domains, some familiar ones too. |
