And for people saying that guns need to be illegal in the US, well they are illegal as hell in Mexico and Mexico has about 100 times more deaths related to guns than most any country.

When I went to school there was no security of any kind. NO children had their mothers waiting in long lines to pick them up from school monitors after school. We would either ride a bus, walk, ride our bicycles. The same gun laws were in effect then as now.

Now schools are in lock down environment with security guards and cameras everywhere. What has really changed? Not gun laws.

Again I'm not defending guns as much as stating that in our society guns are here to stay and if illegal would be available on any street corner along with heroin, cocaine and anything else illegal.
