Programs that exclusively or constantly give out prizes for signups...
 

Please list any programs that are known for giving away cool prizes for top performing affiliates....or maybe the program only pays with prizes...?

I remember back in the day when it seemed like most programs had some kind of rewards program and gave stuff out. These days it seems very few do.

we give out gold bars and cash.

It was cool when sponsors did that, but it also presented it's own set of problems on their end.

Not everyone is from the US, and mail delivery is dicey in some places.

That could be overcome now by things that weren't so commonplace back then, like Amazon egift cards, etc.

Personally, as an affiliate, it was never a selling point for me with a program. Either it was something I wanted to promote that I thought could sell, or not.

Plus you earn free Happy Hour credit with every $ you earn.

By far the best cam program to work with. In my humble opinion of course. :winkwink:

Back in 2008 I was playing with Stats Remote and noticed it had a column for prize money. I turned it on and found out I had a SHITLOAD of prize money all over the place.

That year I got the kids free iPod Minis with cases, stand alone radios with iPod attachments, iTunes cash. I converted about $500 in Amazon gift certificates into presents for various family and friends. I got a bike for the GF. I got Stats Remote for a year. I got a 24" monitor. I got a Play Station 2 for my nephews. All kinds of shit.

Might have been 2007... All I remember is I was lucky. Most of the programs informed me I should spend the entire prize account cash because they were closing their prize programs at the end of the year with the economic downturn from the housing collapse.

Yeah... but wasn't it less then 50/50 share rev. in the beginning? Now some programs allready offering 70%... Maybe there's no money anymore for gifts...

Serious... how were rev. rates like back in 1998? Was it 50/50? or less?

I had a similar situation. For the most part I hadn't paid much attention to the price points and stuff many programs offered then one day I got an email from a sponsor telling me I had enough points to get the iPod. I started looking around and found I had points with a lot of different companies. I got some nice stuff that summer :)
