No idea. Could be a maintence man or just a random person that lived near by and heard all the gun shots.

If it was a suspect he'd of been arrested/booked and we'd of heard about it.

Because when you're a cop at a crime scene with dead bodies everywhere and you see somebody fleeing the scene it kinda makes sense to go follow/chase that person down.

There is a shooting. Over a hundred shots are fired, twenty-six people killed dead. Maybe he was running away from a crazed gun man?

Why was he chased? Gee, I don't fucking know. Maybe the news copter saw someone in the woods and alerted police. The police, who at this point don't know if it's one gun man, two kids with guns, a well hung squirrel, or an Israeli strike team... Give chase?

If you can't figure out why someone might be running from a mad man with an assault rifle that just killed two dozen people, and if you can't figure out why police gave chase to him... Maybe you shouldn't have a driver's license.

weird, it's not strange they pursued this guy but a google search just leads to a lot of people asking who he was and what he was doing and it doesn't seem like the police ever made a statement about him.

The breaking news was so bad and misleading. At first they said they found the rifle in the car he drove to the school, But yet everyone was shot with the rifle. Also he went in with two fully loaded handguns with extra ammo and only used it to kill himself.
