Champions League Draw - Last 16
The big teams have to slit each others throats early on...
|
wow awesome first round :D
|
looking forward to seeing Ronny tear united a new one.
I wonder which tie will see the most arrests made? id go with Shakhtar / dortmund or Celtic / Juve. Pissed up jocks, pissed up germans, and turks and italians have been pretty stabby over the years... |
My favorite team is AC Milan :thumbsup

About the draw, i hope we can somehow do to Juventus, what we did at home to Barcelona. If we can do that, then we have a chance to go away in the 2nd leg and try grind out a good enough result which could take us through. Would be amazing if we could do it. Although even if we do go out now, it's been a great journey in Europe this year for us. We've certainly punched above our weight. Go Celtic! :thumbsup The Man U vs Real Madrid game will be huge... |
Not sure what you base your assumption on, but there is only 2 big teams going head to head and that is Real Madrid and Manchester United. Don't kid yourself that Arsenal are a big team or that AC Milan are a big team. I think the draw is pretty balanced for the most part, I expect all the away teams on your graphic to progress to the next round. I'd love to see Celtic beat Juventus but it won't happen.

Looks like you are correct though :thumbsup |
Amazing that the practice draw yesterday, was the EXACT same as the official draw today.
The odds on that happening were 5000/1. |

Whoever has calculated that has only taken into account that teams from the same group cannot draw each other. They have failed to take into account that teams from the same county cannot draw each other |

I will be praying my Bhoys in Green can beat Juventus, I would have been a bit happier if we played in Italy first but in all honesty, I am just glad we're at this stage, it's huge in terms of money earned and putting Scottish Football back on the World map. |
