Brought a tear to my eye... In a good way...
A pal came around earlier on, with his seven year old daughter in tow...
I just spent the most delightful half hour with her, where she informed all about santa, and how she watches him on http://www.noradsanta.org/ but she has to go to bed when he reaches Germany ! Completely believes in Santa 100% and it was a really nice half hour! I know this isn't the usual sort of post I make, but it was really sweet... I'm gonna go out tomorrow and buy her a gift, but sign it from Santa - Not from me... I'll tell her he left it at my house by mistake ! . |
There is no poo in this story.....:disgust

when my oldest son was about 6 or 7, I dont remember which, he used to go to the golf course I was a greens-keeper at and roll golf balls into the holes on the practice green. This was early in the morning on the weekends when I didnt have much to do and their were no golfers on the course. (TPC Sawgrass)
That Christmas we went to his grandparents house on Christmas Eve for dinner and when we got back home there was a brand new putter sized just for him from Santa. He is 23 now, has given up trying to figure out how it got there and still remembers that night as one of his favorites from his childhood. His expression when he saw it was remarkable... some kid at school had told him Santa did not exist but right then his faith had been restored and his expression was full of wonder and joy. I dont know how he found out that there was no Santa but he never seemed to care that adults had mislead him :) Currently Sober, I am glad you got to experience the innocence of a child dreaming of Saint Nick |

Well, I guarantee you, (provided I get visa clearance) that if you are at a major show in 2018, I will seek you out, walk up, and *shake your hand :) * = you may well want to wash your hand afterwards, but I'm not one to judge... |
Nice, my niece and nephew's piece of shit father told them santa wasn't real and to stop believing in worthless shit.
They're 7 and 9. I want to strangle the piss out of him. |
