I'm working on a tube site wich is more like a search engine, and indexed for this like 1.8 millions of vidoes from tube partner sites. People can search for actor attributes like body shape, race, hair color, age etc... all the videos are categorized in that properties. So you can specify what kinda girl you wanna see fucked at that very moment and get a lot of videos you can choose from. The search results appear very fast, dynamically with modern javascript technologies, and the results have infinite scroll, so you can scroll down page over page to get a video. The vids are ordered by click/view ratio. I developed everything on my own.

Ok, the clue is, i get money from sending people to the videos on the partner sites. I also do traffic trading. In total I get a rate of about

- 50% of the visitors sold (some click 4 times, some 0 times etc.. in total its 50% sold traffic of incoming traffic) ...
- 75% visitors traded. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this means this is = 3 persons back. ( 0.75 + 0.7*0.75 + 0.75*0.75*0.75 .... = 3)

Ok, in total, i would get like 50% of sells fromt the arriving visitors and 3*50% of the traded, means like in total i have sold 200% of my visitors. Seems like this is a money machine, that doubles the money I put in, if the visitors can be purchased for the same price as i can sell them.

Is that the way to see it, the calculation? Is that good numbers? Me for myself im kinda amazed, even when I dont really SEE the actual money flowing back like 200% or such, but a lot of traffic is in the traders, that i will get back in the future... so it will keep flowing...

Ok, why I write you is the thought, how I could potentially make this work, how can you actually get traffic to your site (i know, stupid question, cause thats all about what this business is kinde) ...

I tried:
- Purchasing Traffic from Choker, from trafficholder (even tested their Testing-System, that tries to estimate the perfect source for your site... honestly, that was 250 USD total waste of money) ... this traffic really converts bad. I got like conversion of about 50%, in the way as described above. Like i put in 100$ and get 50$ back... so thats not the way to go i think
- I tried to optimize the site for the search engines. Actually i get a lot of traffic from search.xxx, cause i have .xxx domains. But unfortunately google hates .xxx as it seems. I have also one .com domain and this site had like 12k page in the index after a week, the .xxx domains barely have 100 in there, even after 3 weeks... In alexa im now at about 800'000 have like 15k visitors a day, pagerank is still 0. I did some link trades, for "free porn search engine" keywords, so i have like 30 pages pointing to my primary site.
So I see each day like 20% more ppl coming from google, but thats still just like 1%, and the other free traffic is like 1k in total, so i have like 7% free traffic, the rest is trade and purchased which doesnt convert.
- So i tried also some JuicyAds, to see if that traffic converts better. AND YES IT DOES. I still have the same conversion rate, at about 180% in total, so a bit lower than the free search enigne traffic, but still makes a good shape i think. the problem is: this traffic costs around 4-8$/1k or even more, depending on ad and placement. Am I doing this wrong? How much you pay for traffic you get over ads? Do you make ads?

Or what do you do to get ppl to your site? Actually also actively, because i plan to invest money in traffic and then reinvest the money which flows back.. but i kinda need to get a sure way how i can get traffic which costs the same amount as i can sell the traffic (1-2$ / 1k)

Hope someone will answer on that stuff, sorry its just braindump and i dont really know how to get further.
