Which court? It makes a difference. Also, you won't be on trial for obscenity, hell, it isn't even a criminal trial. Your lawyers might even push for a non-jury trial, if you feel people will be biased because of your business.

Glad to hear one of the top adult companies is going to fight this. The patent is complete bullshit and it would be great to see other adult companies help out and get this patent overturned. It should never have been approved by the US PTO, I don't even know how they can claim they own a patent on technologies they didn't even create. Good to hear your taking them on Marc.

I keep telling you we should do a group action against microsoft. It will throw them into the game. We will lose but it will be awake up call for them on this. Microsoft has no business licensing windows media if they are in direct violation of the Acacia patent, same goes for quick time and real media. If we are getting sued we should hold them accountable.

I would love to hear what Microsoft's lawyers think about Acacia's claim to these patents. I'm sure they're well aware of Acacia by now. I wonder what strategy they're planning to deal with this.

This would give hopes that the courts would look at it as establishing Acacia credibility and increase their horsepower when they do decide to go after the big guys..
