It's always that cheap I think. I bought mine 3/4 years ago for about that.

I want the L Series 1.2 though. Oh I want that.

Already have 2 of them, which I paid less than $90 for.

They jumped to $125 about a year ago.

I had it for years, probably the best value lens you can get...

Cracking little lens for the money. 1.2 is the way to go though :)

with all due respect the 50mm fixed focal length is THE most useless piece of glass. one size fits all and it doesn't fit anybody. just my $.02

I had the 1.4 and sold it... I thought the 1.8 was good enough....


Now....I'd love a 1.2 .... wowzee!

It's about $100 all day long on ebay. Good for reversing it for a cheap macro photography lens too.. Given it's price you almost can't afford not to have one unless you went straight for the 1.4 or 1.2.
