Review of Trillian multi IM client
 

Even i use miranda moded which support multiple clients,it doesn't support skype nor gtalk,so i had to look for alternative.Since trilian is at the moment only offline client
which support all kinds of clients,i decided to try it.It have free version,and also it support skype without need to have skype client running.
Free version suppose to have ads,but it seems it's probably showing to some countries only since i dont see them.After few days of using it i can tell it's good client and i will continue to use it and no longer use miranda moded nor any other client.
Things which i like on it:
-recent conversation list when you click with right mouse click on trilian icon,this is very good so you can send message and close window then,so you dont unnecessary have window open.Also handy if you accidentally close windows during conversation so you can easily then open it back.
-interface looking pretty good and i would say better for eyes compared to miranda moded including window conversation too
-icq connect instantly compared to miranda moded where it sometime takes minutes
-skype work fine and it's not annoying as original client
-Support groups and subgroups
Bad thing:
-when you load icq,a lot of contacts will be named as numbers.But i turned this bad thing as good thing,since i had to see what kind of contacts i have,and then i realized how most of them are no longer valid or used so i deleted a lot of them.Plus i also added url to each nickname so i can recognize quicker what does each contact do.

So in shortly if you want make your Instant messaging procedure much easier i definitely recommend to use this.Now i can finally use skype 24/7,before i was using it only when i needed to contact someone because it's client is so annoying.
Also i didn't tested video/paid calling part of skype,but dont see need for that since i use skype for text messaging only anyway.
There is a pro version which dont have ads and also support cloud history.

Good Plugin for Trillian: Off-the-Record Support for Trillian

I have no problem using Gtalk with Miranda via the Jabber plugin.

I used trilian in 2004,but it was totally buggy then.
