I'll be sitting in working tonight while everyone else I know goes out. Thing is, I'm totally content with that.

I'll get some work done and make more money while others are out blowing it and getting in trouble. :winkwink:

I went out to a good friend's house last night for a Christmas/New Years party. He had a chef come to his home and cook us a FANTASTIC duck dinner with an apple Honey Jack sauce that was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

After dinner a few of us had an impromptu jam session in his basement that he has set up as a recording studio ...

I drank way too much, and smoked way too much hash too .... so I am going to be a lightweight tonight and spend it with the wife and daughter.

I'm staying home. Not a fan of drunk masses.

Just the wife and I at home tonight. The daughter is out at a friend's place for the evening.

Might break out some wobbly pop and toast the New Year at midnight.

+1 here. There are so many alcohol related accidents around here. When you live in the sticks, there's not much else to do besides drink. I might turn on the police scanner tonight and listen to how activate it will actually be.

I'm working - although there is a large glass of VAT in front of me as well.

Its my birthday tomorrow so me and a few mates are going for a Thai - Its what happens most years.

Chilling tonight, working on new projects and preparing for a visit to the Zen Temple tomorrow in Little Tokyo. Wife is Japanese, we're into shinto. It's kinkier than you think. :winkwink:

its amateur night out there... id rather be home and safe.

Parted ways today with current g/f so staying home with the old hound dog. Not that I would have gone out anyway for many of the reasons posted above. Tomorrow the hunt begins again, lol.

No, lol. But it's a familiar story for me. Someone else's kids. My g/f goes home over Christmas to stay with her mother, and now wants to bring her teenage son to live with us because his father can't control him.

Just what I don't want or need in my life. I'm a pretty simple guy that doesn't like disruption in the way I live or drama that has nothing to do with me. I'm planning to leave for Florida again soon so the end was inevitable.

I never go out for New Years. Me and the family together with snacks and fake booze, grape soda :)

Went to the store earlier and saw cops pulling cars over randomly checking for drunks already. So just staying home. Watch the ball drop on TV.

Stayed home myself, did some work, had some beers and played a few games. Nice to wake up without a hangover:)

I paid a bunch of money one year for a party at Ravens Stadium. Even with a bunch of friends the vibe wasn't right and it sucked. Then we had to wait three hours for a cab. That was the last time I did the formal NYE thing. This year just had a great time with the in laws duck pin bowling for five hours. It was a special event to celebrate the new year but more family oriented and a ton of fun.

Got back home by 9pm, too many drunk drivers after that..

We stayed in this year. Got drunk and had sex. Happy new year.
