How I spent New Year's Eve / Day (lotsa pics)
 

It has been a busy but fun couple of days, and I have pics to prove it.

New Year's Eve we headed back to the Redondo Beach Castle for an evening of fun people and really good magic. The hostess of the party, Lady of Magic, Sisuepahn Phila is a regular at the Magic Castle and has been on several television shows. Her events are always fundraisers for her organization, Magic 4 Orphans. This particular event included magicians and mentalists Brian Gillis, Todd Reis, Ryan Oshwald, Jimmy H and starring The Amazing Johnathan and Anastasia. The Amazing Johnathan has been a long time favorite of mine, so I really enjoyed his performance.

what happened to the chick?

After a couple hours sleep, I took a very cold bike ride out to Pasadena for the 124th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade. I took a ton of pics there and putting them into one gallery would make them tough to view, so I broke them down into two groups.

I saw Amazing Jonathan in 1999 while I was in college, one of the best shows. Hilarious.
