What do AFFILIATES think of SLIIING? (not sponsors)
I have been looking for a cms for our affiliate program to distribute our promo tools. We are a CCbill program so I am considering sliiing.com and acufuse, (nats ccbtools etc).
I am interested in what the AFFILIATES like/dislike about these systems. Sponsors, you are welcome to input if you like ;) Pros? Cons? |
NATS has around 18 pre-built adtool types for you to manage easily and distribute to your affiliates:
Image Banners, Geo Banners, Flash Banners, FHG's, Mailers, Feeds, Content, Fan Signs, Flash Videos, Video Embeds, Videos Hosted, Tag Clouds, Page Peels, IM popups, Footer Ads, Page Ads, Hosted Free Sites, and Overlays. Your affiliates will also have the benefits of using all the stats and reporting tools we have to offer along with an awesome and easy to use dashboard. And best of all you can use our CCBill paid program option so CCbill still makes the payments to your affiliates. If you'd like I can show you a guided demo of how this all works. :) |
great support

I promote a couple of sites that use Sliiing. It is a decent program from my prospective. Easy to navigate, good stats. I thought about using it but decided to use Woj's scripts instead. Woj is one time pay and a superb programmer with bulletproof scripts.
|
Yeah I seen his stuff. I like having an all in one solution, but I see alot of potential with woj as well.

One of the reasons affiliates like CCBill programs is because it is seen as slightly more shave resistant. When you add on these other programs as a go between it reduces some of that perceived benefit. It doesn't mean I don't trust a sliing or nats program. It just means I'm more cautious than I otherwise might be. I don't have much experience with sliing programs to say more.
Something I wonder about with nats and these other systems is how the cookies work and integrate with ccbill. I understand how ccbill does it alone but for instance is a cookie still getting set on the first page or does it only happen after the user clicks once? That is the kind of stuff I want to know because it can make a difference. This is just an example of the things serious affiliates might wonder about when weighing it. There tends to be some distrust. Especially when conversions aren't where we'd like them to be. It's basically another level of complication you are adding where something might magically be going wrong to deprive me of my commission. That's the pessimistic way of looking at it. ;) |
From my understanding NATS links are direct links to the ccbill system and the ccbill stats in nats are reported directly from ccbill, just that NATS (and sliiing) are able to take the info and make more detailed reports with a nicer display. As for cookies I do not know.
That being said... what do you need most for promo tools and how do you prefer them to be distributed to you, the affiliate? |
Bump!
Bump, bump! Thats the sound that I hear from the 15's in my trunk! |
BEWARE OF THIS MEMBER "zdeneczek" !!! "zdeneczek" will scam your thread for sure !!!

Still looking at my options here, any other suggestions? ccbtools acufuse etc.
|
So you haven't made a decision in two years? C'mon hoss, what's the holdup? LOL
But if you are still looking then there's no better option than Woj's scripts. Plus Woj is always available and gives stellar support. :) Good luck! |
We were already with NATS at the time thinking of a change. Things eventually fell apart with my employer. Now that I am on my own venture, I am still considering my options. It seems not much has changed since then. Is NATS still pretty much standard? What do affiliates like these days. What kinds of tools are needed? Let's innovate!

Tools today? Banners, videos in mp4 format with a dump tool for tubes, animated hosted ads, maybe some FHGs..... But really today it's about relationships and getting your affiliates what they need, and that can be different for most affs. NATS is more expensive than CCBill so factor that in, too. If you are on your own then I would totally recommend, at this point, going with CCBill and using Woj for his scripts and support. :) |
I should have mentioned, I do have partners, also we already use ccbill. NATS would be integrated if I go that route. Sliiing has me intrigued, I am happy to see the option of hosting on own server... However, the sites given to me as samples were the same as those in the sites Testimonials, which were incomplete. I figured more programs/site owners would use Sliiing after time has passed.

I've a tight ass, so I plumped for WOJ's tools. Solid, working scripts and a one-off small price too. if you start getting hundreds of very active affiliates making hundreds of sales a month each, then price doesn't become an issue.
And then if you get hundreds of affiliates making hundreds of joins per month, do let me know how you did it! 8) |

I am looking more for something to organize tools, much like ccbtools or acufuse but neither has updated in years. Support for ccbtools went out the window a long time ago. I am unfamiliar with Script5, never used it as an affiliate. NATS and Sliiing have some cool features, but it isn't necessary. I just don't want to be stuck hand writing all the tools in. I trust woj scripts, just unsure if its what I want. I like sort of an AIO solution. I don't mind adding tools manually, but as we add sites I just don't need the extra tasks. I do like the idea of keeping it simple.

as an affiliate, I like sliiing, slightly confusing to navigate at times but I do like them.

I love Sliiing but they sure could have chosen a better name.

SpookyCash uses a combo of Woj's tools and custom coding.
As an affiliate, I think Sliiiiiiiiiiiiing is decent, but I second them needing a different name. I never recall how many i's to put in. |
