photographers ever told a model to leave because

she was covered in bruises and you just knew it would end up being a fucking nightmare to edit?

Jim_Gunn 01-09-2013 07:37 PM

Bruises and also pimples or a boil or something on a model's skin. Yes, that's happened to me several times and I had to cancel or re-schedule the shoots.

buck30 01-09-2013 07:40 PM

yup. told her where to get on the light rail to get to the airport.

georgeyw 01-09-2013 07:44 PM

It must cost a fortune then again editing every picture is a huge time waster too.

xenigo 01-09-2013 08:25 PM

Yeah I've had stupid shit like that happen. And then when you try to kick the model out, they act like you're committing fraud or something.

fitzmulti 01-09-2013 08:32 PM

Yup...been there...done that.
They should fkn know better!

tony286 01-09-2013 08:34 PM

When shooting in hotels, its hard to do.

VIXEN ESCORTS 01-09-2013 08:40 PM

Yup, but only after the shoot LOL

About 15 years ago I had a super beautiful model show up. I had met and spoke with her before the shoot and she promised me she had no tatoos or scars.

But during the shoot when she took her clothes off....
She still had her penis.

She then says, " I have an appointement to have it removed at the end of the month."

I sent her home and said she could come back after it was removed.

One cute-as-hell model we worked with years ago turned out to be a skateboarding chick, so she had a few bruises. We worked around it with makeup, lighting, camera angles...and a fair bit of post-edit. Took extra time - but the final pics were worth it.

Send her home

Yep, this just happened yesterday! We do all our paperwork then I see she has this big, fresh chemical burn on her left shoulder and back - about 10 inches square. Said she had a reaction to some cheap soap from the 99 cents store. Big pustules, with some outbreak spreading to her upper arm and around her side onto the edge of her boob. She said she thought we could "cover it with makeup". I would have to Bondo it, sand it and send her to a paint shop. Drove her to the train and told her would love to have her back when it heals. I doubt that will happen, I don't see how that will heal without terrible scarring.

That's some crazy stuff...
What the hell do these girls really think?
Or...maybe they just don't think...

Says quite a bit about the types of girls who are in this business.

Another question is, how far do you let it slide?

Obviously if they have a cock when you were expecting an axe wound then they have to go, however the bruising can be hidden to an extent as SK mentioned.

How far have you let it slide in the past?

Of course... bruises, or sunburn, or a rash. They show up and expect me to retouch all the photos and (presumably) the video--which, of course, is impossible.
