I need 5 independent reviews of my paid Cam-site. I will pay for them.

This will be a confidential review. You are not allowed to publish your review nor the site URL until the official launch. I can publish your review or portions of it here on GFY if I see fit.

Terms are as follows:

I reserve the right to accept you or not in this promotion. If I think you are an asshole or a full time troll you will not be accepted. If only trolls and assholes apply I may accept you anyway, in which case I reserve the right to say mean things to and about you.

Payout by Paypal only.

Half upfront, half on delivery of review.

Payment amount based on post count.

under 1000 posts do not qualify

1000 to 2499 posts $50
2500 to 4999 posts $100
5000 to 9999 posts $150
10000 and up $200

You will be given a test credit card # to sign up with and enough site credits for 30 minutes of private shows. Your membership will be good for 24 hours, this can be extended as necessary, people got shit to do I know.

You must give an honest review of:

Site design, including color scheme, general impression and useability.

Tour design, signup process and transparency.

Site functionality, speed or lack thereof, ease of use or lack thereof, features or lack thereof.

Cam girls, their looks, hospitality, communication skills and entertainment skills.

Feedback emails, transaction receipts, and the information included therein.

Preference will be given to those who I perceive to have the most industry experience. If less than 3 qualified people apply I may cancel the promotion.

Are you looking for a "review", as in few paragraphs of professionally written text? or more like honest feedback?

I think he's looking for - honest - review site type material, but I could be mistaken. Not a bad way to try and help boost a site at launch though.

If you are actually willing to pay me $200 for an hour of my time then I will certainly write a review for you. I don't make $200/hr. elsewhere.

That's $416k a year on an 8 hour day.

I have reviewed literally 1,000s of websites, I own several hundred of my own sites and have consulted on dozens of major brand sites for clients. Once I see your site I can give you a brief free review and if you want to work together beyond that we can arrange a set price for any additional work, regardless of whether it takes 100 words or 100,000 words to help you with your own internal site evaluation.

With all due respect, the fascination people have with valuing text on a 'per word' basis is badly misguided. If honest feedback is your goal, you are better off paying based on the value of the feedback. 10,000 words is 20-30 pages of text... anyone who sends you a 30 page document either doesn't know how to get their point across in a succinct manner or is word-stuffing to earn an extra $150.00. Most of the actionable feedback you will get probably makes more sense to be written as 'bullet points' with brief descriptions that can be discussed or elaborated on later if it interests you. :2 cents:

Honestly there are enough replies in this thread from qualified people to stop right now but I said I would let it run for 24 hours so I am gonna stand by my word on that. I am out to take care of some offline stuff but I will check back tomorrow and announce the winners. I know I haven't replied to everyone, but I will read the thread again carefully tomorrow. (more likely tonight but for sure tomorrow)

To be honest ... the info he can compile by such reviews -- if executed properly -- is worth it to him, and in any other business, is easily worth the 50-200 dollars ....

The Adult industry because over-saturated somewhere around 2003 - around the time that third world countries with cheap wages got broadband internet - and in order to compete with all the competition, designers, writers, image editors, picture croppers, and pretty much all other service providers began grossly undercharging for their services ...

KUDOS to you pompousjohn for realizing the value in asking for a particular type of service, and being willing to pay fair value for the same!

Maybe you should try to get people who actually understand cam sites to give you feedback... asking for "reviews" is attracting generic paysite reviewers; and we all know that is really different market to cams.

Almost 7 years experience with paysites, sponsors, webmasters etc in adult
I worked on a position where I saw what sites convert or not so I can give out a few tips on that matter

What the OP wants is someone that knows the market to consult and go over his site to check for any problems, show stoppers, or tweaks that could improve it.

He doesn't want a 1c a word reviewer to write praise and submit it to a review site.

THIS guy knows about cam sites.

But having a critically acclaimed cam site with shiny features and beautiful girls doesn't necessarily mean you will be a success. What is under the hood, that the customers never see is what makes or breaks a site.

Thanks everyone for your participation. I have already gotten some excellent feedback from Sandman, as I had imagined there are some glaring issues that I am too close to the project to see.

Some of you have commented that I am paying too much, I know that $25 or $30 SHOULD be enough to get this done, however my thinking is that the people I want consulting from are people who are already succesful enough to have a reason to post 10,000 times on this board and who are not going to stop what they are doing and focus on improving someone else's business for any length of time without a good reason.
