I'm thinking of taking up rollerblading to lose weight...
Just like at the end of this hot vid... However, when I last put a pair of roller blades on, i stood up, & both sets of wheels just snapped sideways :helpme That was about 2 years ago... (I've gained an extra 100lbs since then...) Please advise? |

You got waves down where you are? Take up surfing. Just the paddling out there, getting hammered and doing it again for an hour is a great work out, if you get to stand up all the better. I spent a year living in San Sebastian and took it up, lost 30lb. Dont worry about winter, do what I did, when you could no longer feel your feet though the wet suit, you've had enough.

I might recommend working with traditional quad skates to get you going. Your weight would be distributed better and you'll feel more stable than in roller blades, especially starting out.
Rollerblading, or roller skating in general, is great cardio and is excellent for core strength as you have to use your core to help keep you upright. And it will totally build up your legs, too :) ~Emily |
I remember that song being on the radio so many times a day.. :)
Exercise is great :thumbsup |
You can skate to Subway and then to the public toilets to do a foot-long; weight loss accomplished :thumbsup

Try walking first.
