2014 Corvette has debuted... whatcha think?

Currently have a 2012, and before that a 2011, and several others before that... I'm liking the looks of the new one, though... Any other Vette enthusiasts here? Gonna place your orders?

Fuck, that's nice.

Gator 01-13-2013 10:53 PM

I am not an ExtremeBanker so I'll have to stick with my bike, but it looks good.

Spunky 01-13-2013 11:13 PM

It looks sharp ,they sure did a complete design overhaul.looks even more expensive

fitzmulti 01-13-2013 11:18 PM

Delicious!

sojproductions 01-13-2013 11:19 PM

first glance was wow, second was transformer, may be a few too many sharp edges.

TCLGirls 01-13-2013 11:28 PM

gimmie dat!

MuleScrote 01-13-2013 11:43 PM

Looks more like the super cars...much needed facelift. I like!

d-null 01-13-2013 11:45 PM

it does look great, but I think nowadays and the coming years, being discrete is better than flaunting wealth, better to blend in and not stand out too much :2 cents:

shermo 01-14-2013 12:02 AM

Holy. Shit.
Do want.

BIGTYMER 01-14-2013 12:33 AM

So nice!

Markul 01-14-2013 02:27 AM

That is one sweet ride :thumbsup and in my country it's probably 400,000-500,000 USD ><

WuTang 01-14-2013 02:34 AM

Looks like a car any cock gobbler would want.

CurrentlySober 01-14-2013 02:38 AM

Bit sharp for my taste. I like soft curves on a motor.

But my opinion is irrelevant, cause it wont be available in the UK anyway :)

zizix 01-14-2013 02:43 AM

Beautiful, how much ?

There is one approved dealer in Manchester and that's it. Long way to go for servicing.

nico-t 01-14-2013 04:40 AM

taillights look too much like the camaro's... should've stick with rounder ones

GARY LEE 01-14-2013 04:44 AM

I really like it. Looks like I might have to get another vette.

GirlsOnYou 01-14-2013 05:08 AM

No-one likes american cars here, our roads have corners.

Minte 01-14-2013 07:18 AM

I've never been a big Corvette fan, but this car looks good.
And you really get a lot of bang for your buck with one.

Choopa_Pardo 01-14-2013 07:51 AM

big improvement over the dull interior/exterir of the last model. Has Chevy released weight/HP/Torque figures yet? engine options?

In 2011 the 2 top selling cars in Britain were the Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus. In 2012 Fiesta took number one spot again.

seeandsee 01-14-2013 08:03 AM

I cant even drive corvette from 80s

LiveDose 01-14-2013 08:08 AM

That looks sweet.

pornguy 01-14-2013 08:15 AM

Not my thing for sure.

ShowMe69 01-14-2013 08:34 AM

I got a nice brand new car in the garage and I drive around a twenty year old truck I restored as my daily driver.... It's more fun really.

BFT3K 01-14-2013 10:17 AM

The stripped down 400 horsepower model will start in the area of $50K

The loaded up 600 horsepower model will exceed $100k

pretty sad because for 50k one can go out and buy a mustang that would wipe the streets with this vette.

but at the end of the day that guy still has a mustang in the garage that pretty much looks like every other mustang to the average person while the other guy has a corvette

dyna mo 01-14-2013 10:59 AM

I think it looks fantastic.

it's up there with the new jag f-type. completely different look from the f-type, but just as fantastic.

the new motor is not finished yet but it is *predicted* to be 450/450 with xllnt mpg.

what i do not get is an all-new 2014 car with leaf springs? come on man!
that's just stubbornly clinging to outdated tech.

I dont think the looks of a shelby GT are really that close to the v6 mustang. And not to change this into a mustang thread but the lines of the mustang definitely look better than that hotwheels/transformer looking corvette. :1orglaugh

Farang 01-14-2013 11:09 AM

Would look badass in black i think.

JP-pornshooter 01-14-2013 11:13 AM

we dont see too many vettes in so california.
damn freeways so jammed can go much over 30 anyhows.
and that would just be a shame.
love to take this one for a long straight away ride.

you are correct they are obviously nothing alike. a night and day difference. nobody would ever think the gt500 is even remotely the same as a v6 mustang. excuse me for being so mistaken and thank you for showing me the error of my ways. for fuck sakes.

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps Chevy is afraid of alienating purists of the brand? Losing the leaf springs in favor of independent rear suspension would increase performance and handling greatly!

nico-t 01-14-2013 12:28 PM

i never really liked the design of those new mustangs. It looks dated and made in a rush - not dated as in the cool retro look they tried to accomplish, but dated as in it looks like they first designed the new look in the late 90's.

The revamped modern challenger shows how a tasteful modern looking retro design is done the right way, everything about that design is perfect, from every angle... one of the best looking cars ever.

Choopa Phil 01-14-2013 12:31 PM

Obviously anyone can make a v6 look like the GT500. That V6 lacks being lowered, having a v8, brakes, lowered, hood, front bumper, grille, headlights, wing, tail lights, rear valence and interior changes....practically exact things that are different between a c6 vette and a z06 or zr1. Vette's and mustangs are a dime a dozen here theyre nothing special...the point im trying to make is the Gt500 is 10k cheaper and has over 100 more HP. Thats sad when corvettes have been the poster child for american sports cars for years. Oh and they kept the leaf springs.

That was my 1st thought it has some Ferrari, some Viper and a few others. But still it's great looking and good value for the buck:thumbsup
