Hello,

I run an escort directory listing website at adultscribe.com. I am a web developer at heart but know nothing about the business side.

Looking for some ways to make money off the website. Right now I am signed up with the Adult Friend Finder network's affiliate program. Can someone provide some ideas on making this site more profitable? I've put a lot of time into it.

As far as the technology its built using .NET (MVC). I came to the realization mostly everything in the adult business is written in PHP or some other open source language.

It seems most of your competitors are membership sites, showing only partial reviews to the public, and requiring you to pay for the details. Have you tried this business model?

Also, it seems to me that 90% of your traffic is going to be looking the link to their hometown, so why not make your start page a list of cities (like craigslist) rather than just a welcome message? It took me a minute to figure out how to navigate.
