I'm confused all to hell about internet stock broker routing
I know to avoid the ones with dealing desks ?who are usually market makers?
Then I was trying to find one which was a "true ecn" MBTrading looks really good to me and the guy who calls me says they're an exn broker which is "the same thing". http://www.mbtrading.com/commissions.aspx?page=Stocks MBTrading seems like a really good broker to me.. the service is amazing thus far Then, IB looks good too... and they tell me this: Interactive Brokers is considered a direct access execution firm, therefore, we are neither a dealing desk, nor an ECN broker. |
Just go to Vegas. At least they serve drinks and you'll have fun losing your money.

Honest advice: If you made any money, take it and run, never invest in another penny stock again. You were lucky, don't confuse that for skill. There is no skill in this casino, only punters and house. You are punter. It will vaporize as quickly as it came.
Of course, nobody ever does that. It usually takes losing most/all of your capital.. And yes, i am speaking from experience ;) |
If you're still going to do it, IB is good.

How are your gallery submissions going or did you get ADD and move onto something else? |

I'm looking to learn to take advantage of promotions.. get in and back out.. I've successfully done so twice now but I don't hold myself out as being any kind of an expert and realize that those could have been a fluke. I definitely do not expect to be an expert or even good at trading in the first few months but these promotions seem to be fairly predicable in terms of whether or not a stock is going to move based on them.. As an example I'm learning which promoters to ignore and which ones generally tend to really make a stock move.. looking at how much float there is, what the company has been doing on the inside, what they're going to spend on a promotion and several other things I thought I wanted to get into shorting pennies but it seems dumber and dumber the more I learn about it. Paying extra fees for this and for that, not being able to borrow most pennies and on and on and on. That is disappointing to say the least. It is a LOT easier to find a successful promotion after the fact and take advantage of it then IF you could find borrows. Sigh. |

What gallery submissions? Believe it or not- TGP isn't dead- I make galleries for The Hun to this day--- they're great people and the traffic converts. No one else will list anything anymore and no TGPs are worth buying PAs for. I tried WS/AL4 and it was worthless and Pierre never made sense when I e-mailed him. I had ONE pa with Shemp a couple of years ago- he's a helluva guy and the PA I had from him definitely was worth it. |

As if I was a big deal.. I bought a $40 account :winkwink: Thanks for always treating me with respect and being so helpful, though That's what America use to be all about, too, customer service and treating people right- it's too bad that no one gives a fuck anymore. |
