Rob/Shemp is definitely a very nice guy. Hun was always polite and courteous as well. Two legends in this league.

The Hun was at the first Dutch webmaster event I ever went to, like 10 years ago or so. When he walked in, he was instantly surrounded by people clamouring for his attention, it was like Jesus just walked into the room. He looks a bit like Jesus, actually :1orglaugh

As far as I remember I always submitted galleries to the hun and not free sites. Unless he started to accept freesites in this stage of business :upsidedow

Many of the biggest tgp's used text links over thumbnails. Fake tgp's liked only thumbs style.

Good for you. You helped me out a lot "back in the day". The Hun and AL4A single-handedly launched my career. A lot of people don't understand how things worked before. Honesty and open communication could make you a lot of money.

Today? Not so much.

Do not let the 2005 sign-up date fool you (this is NOT directed at Shemp...). I have been here for a LOT longer than that. And I was at PC and other boards before this place even existed. There is still money in this business, but the fun has been sucked right out of it.

This business is not funny, and its not fun. But I can't fucking leave it. Anyway, continue as you were...

Hell I've been around longer than any of you... I may not be worth a fuck as an adult webmaster anymore, but in my day I did fairly well. I may not have had some big TGP or been a program owner (which everyone was back then anyway I suppose) but I started way before the 1999 thing.

The early TGP was called just that, not because they themselves had thumbs, but because they listed thumbnail galleries. If they were like a "linklist", they would have been called FSP haha FreeSitePost? :upsidedow
