Without ammunition to spare for training, soldiers in Mali make their own sounds of war.

LOL.

When I was in the Marines we did this one obstacle course where we had to crawl under barbed wire in the mud and dirt. There were loudspeakers in the distance with the sounds of war, and they set off blasting caps that were big enough to through dirt around. Good times.
