Red Alert 1 with onlineplay for Win, Mac and Linux. (free!!) - 27 MB, you know you want it!
I just found this site, you can download a copy of Red alert 1 (27 MB) and it got everything you need to play online. It brings back a lot of good memories. ;)
http://redalert1.com/ Run configtool.exe first and setup your screen resolution, too big will make everything very small. I recommend 1024x768 or so. Start the game with cncnet.exe for Internet-play, not ra95.exe (it's only for LAN) |

Old-school Red Alert tourney for GFY? Count me in! Been a while but I still know how to fill an APC with engineers :P.

Niiiiceeeee! I am all over it :)

Yeah, they opened the game up for free and there's all kinds of projects building around it. They even had C&C the original in HTML5.
I used to play network games all the time, stopped being fun when you go up against people that it's all they do. Don't play games much anymore but RTS is always enjoyable. |
Haaaa this game used to rule. Command and Conquer: Tiberium Sun was my jam back in the day.

looks tempting.. but pretty busy with civilization atm
