Statistics definitions commonly called stats -

1. the science that deals with the collection, classification, analysis, and interpretation of *numerical facts* or data

2. a numerical fact or datum, especially one computed from a sample.

3. The branch of mathematics dealing with numerical data

Numerical facts...for some thing to be a numerical fact it has to be true.

Numerical facts or stats that are not true...are not accurate...are simply false stats

the opposite of true is false

If your stats are not true they are false...period

no shades of grey or wiggle room

therefore I logically and correctly conclude this premise for you...inaccurate statistics are USELESS in gaining a correct and true numerical conclusion
