Signs of the times. Links pulled
Links pulled years ago.
Haven't used them in years anyway.
I love how its always such a "difficult decision".
No idiots... making that decision is always easy - turning your money losing business around and making it profitable is "difficult". |
Fucked Company.
I knew someone who worked with this guy, apparently he was an amazing coder, but not so good with marketing. His business did well while there was no real competition :2 cents:
Anyone seen that blue and orange combo somewhere before? :upsidedow
Can anybody from AdBrite tell us what will happen to unpaid earnings after the company is wound down? Will earnings that are under your threshold remain unpaid? Also, how about your 90 day hold period? Will you hold money for 90 days after the program is shut down?
Honestly, I am not surprised. Any company that needs to wait 90 days to pay earnings can't be doing very well. Nonetheless, I am sorry to see them go. Less competition among advertising networks is bad for everybody. |
Maybe Juicy Ads could buy them out and have a mainstream ad network, probably not worth the risk though, Jay is sorted for life already. :2 cents:
Surprised they lasted this long
They were very big few years before in mainstream traffic delivery, but they fucked it all
They used to be synonym for adsense alternative, but nothing unusual considering there is like billions of traffic brokers now.
Welcome to 2013 ...

They were by far the suckiest ad network I have ever tried. Viruses, malware, non-working limits for their intermission ads, paying by check only, etc. Perfect example of what not to do.

One of my favorite sites, back in the day |
It's sad to read this. I assume that this ad network didn't evolve fast enough. We saw that most of BLA publishers and advertisers are working now with ExoClick and ExoClickMobile. For those who haven't made the transition yet, they are more than welcome on our ad network.

About 18 months ago I posted photos I'd shot of a very pretty girl, and two very active GFY posters emailed me asking about prices for content. I emailed them back asking them exactly what kind of content they wanted--obviously, solo content is going to be cheaper than b/g content, which is going to be cheaper than anal gangbang content. I did not receive a reply from either person--and I followed up with another email to each. And these are GFY "players". The state of affairs in the content creation business isn't as bad as it seems, it's actually worse than it seems. |

Are they still paying out? |

I hit them up over a week ago asking about last payouts, there was no reply. I also highly doubt they are paying out :(
Same here DTK, visited it again last month for fun, just to see he still has the same sign there for the past what - 8 years?
Adbrite gone, i guess i'd have to pull links from old sites too. |
