BIZ: Quick Question regarding New Sensations check...

Found a small check from New Sensations I had missed - Its only for $112.32

However, its from August last year... :Oh crap

Normally, checks say 'Expires in 90 days' or similar - But this one doesn't....

Good to put in bank or should I hit up NS for a re-issue?

TIA :thumbsup

I think people in bank once told me check is good for 6 months but yeah sometimes there is 90days void info on checks... who the fuck will know

The fee to reissue it might be half the check. Some companies charge and others don't.

I'd just deposit it.

CS: Just contact them directly would be my best guess.

http://www.nscash.com/contact.html

They list their ICQ's and a toll-free number there. Their helpdesk, anytime I have used it, has brought pretty prompt responses.

Yeah, I have contacted them since making this thread...

Awaiting a reply :)

Thanks all :)

When a company prints "void after 90 days" on a cheque, that is actually not legally binding.

Well my bank (barclays) in the UK would disagree :upsidedow

I had an old pimproll one that had gone over by a couple of days last year. The bank rejected it, and charged me a fee.

I hit up pimproll, and they sent me another check, plus the fee I was charged by my bank!

Way to go pimproll ! 100% MY Fault, but you made sure I wasn't in the slightest bit out of pocket - RESPECT :)

While I get the joke, truth is I EXPECT nothing...

A wise man always asks for help, but only a fool EXPECTS it... :2 cents:

Peace :upsidedow

US checks by default are good for 6 months. After that, they become "stale dated" and cannot be deposited or cashed.
