My Kids Homework (pic)
 

No bullshit, this is the homework from my youngest that I reviewed last Thursday night before the Friday submission. Directions: label the picture with a word that has oy, oi or ow in it.

This is what he came up with:

He did not, but I sent it to his teacher via email and she LOVED it. When talking to her yesterday, she was completely supportive of his answer and could totally see how he derived at that. Pretty awesome. :)

The funny thing is as an adult... You get to know your kid's teachers. And they aren't nearly as square as we thought growing up. One of my kid's teachers is smoking hot too.

No, it says, "gays."

He must have started writing something else, maybe the right answer (boys) but then went with a "g."

He's all boy, so needless to say his handwriting isn't that great.

That is so true. When I was in 3rd grade my teacher called my mom because she thought I was dyslexic or something because no matter what she tried I would spell Virginia as Vagina.

It turns out I was mispronouncing it as Vaginia. Once they fixed that problem I was fine. Years later my mom told me after it was figured out she and the teacher laughed until they cried about me writing sentences like, "The settlers in Vagina were mostly farmers."

Little did they know it would end up becoming a career. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

He's in second grade and doesn't have much care to take his time to write nicely. His brother on the other hand has impeccable handwriting - he's also the one I bet to be gay. :)

Yes I find the humor in the entire thing, but school work and instructions are to be followed for a reason.

Where did I say I let him turn it in? I had him change it, of course.

I emailed his teacher when she let me know he had inspired other children to use their coins to buy stuff for others and not themselves and attached the pic to make her smile.

Actually, both of my boys have already showed interest in girls and having girlfriends. Either way, both have a heart of gold so they would make any woman or man happy.

I can't help think of the Family Guy where they are in the future and Meg changes to a man.
